Misfuel risk High

Fleet diesel vans are frequently misfuelled with petrol. PHEV adds petrol tank — identify powertrain before drain.

If the engine was not started

Tank drop before crank on diesel misfuel.

If the engine was started

Inspect HP pump and injectors on diesel if engine ran.

Access procedure

  1. Confirm diesel, PHEV petrol, or BEV variant
  2. Do not start if petrol entered diesel tank
  3. Relieve pressure; support tank
  4. Disconnect fillers and lines; lower tank
  5. fuel extraction and system flush; replace diesel filter
  6. Keep AdBlue separate — do not drain into fuel tank
