Fully electric — no petrol or diesel tank. PHEV siblings use a separate fuel tank; see petrol/diesel variant guidance.

If the engine was not started

Do not start the engine or turn the ignition to RUN. Do not drive. Arrange GBIFDA-certified drainage before contamination reaches the high-pressure pump. Keep receipts for contaminated fuel disposal (Environment Agency / SEPA / NRW / NIEA duty of care).

If the engine was started

If a diesel quantity was driven in a petrol engine, stop as soon as safe. Flush the tank, replace filters, and inspect spark plugs and catalytic converter for smoke or misfire; follow TOPIx if OBD faults persist.

Access procedure

  1. Battery electric — no fuel tank. If non-charging fluid enters systems, follow JLR EV isolation procedure on TOPIx and do not drive.
